Ben ist ein professioneller, ambitionierter and kreativer Schlagzeuger aus der Nähe von Köln/Aachen. Nach zehn Jahren klassischem Schlagzeugunterrichts und dem Studiengang zum "TonAssistent", absolvierte er das Vollzeit-Studium am renommierten Drummers Institute in Düsseldorf mit Abschlussdiplom und hat seitdem mit sehr vielen Bands und Künstlern zusammengearbeitet.
Ben ist den meisten bekannt als Drummer in verschiedenen Modern-Metal Bands, aber ebenso auch für Gothic-Rock-Wave-Pop Acts, experimentellen Rock-Bands oder Psychedlic-ProgressivePop ohne musikalische Grenzen. Ausserhalb der Bands und Projekte in den Ben spielt, ist er als professioneller Live- oder Studio Session Drummer tätig und unterrichtet Schlagzeug im Einzelunterricht in seinem eigenen Recording-Studio und an einer lokalen Musikschule.
Während der letzten 25 Jahre hat Ben auf vielen Studio-Alben/EPs/Singles gespielt für verschiedene Rock-, Pop-, Metal-, HipHop-Bands/-Acts.
Aktuell beschäftigt sich Ben Overmann mit Proben, Unterrichten, Live-Shows spielen und Recording. Über die Jahre war er in ganz Europa auf Tournee, als Support-Act für grössere Bands, aber auch als Headliner und auf Europäischen Festivals.
Ben is a professional, ambitious and creative drummer based near Cologne/Aachen, Germany. After ten years of classical drumming education and the study course "TonAssistent", he completed the full-time studies at the renowned Drummers Institute in Düsseldorf with graduation diploma and since then has worked with many different bands and artists. Ben is mainly known for being the drummer in several modern-metal bands, but also for gothic-rock-wave-pop acts, experimental rock-bands or psychedelic-progressive pop with no musical-limitations. Outside of the bands and projects that Ben plays in/for, he offers his services and knowledge as a professional live or studio session drummer and teaches drums in one-to-one sessions at his own recording studio and at a local musicschool. Whithin the last 25 years Ben has performed on many different studio albums/EPs/singles for several Rock-, Pop-, Metal-, HipHop-Bands / -Acts. Currently Ben Overmann is busy with rehearsing, teaching, playing live shows and recording albums.
