Yen spent her childhood in Taiwan, where her mother was born and raised. Since 1997 she was involved in countless cover band productions in Baden-Wuerttemberg and was therefore able to try herself again and again. Productions such as Philippe van Eecke (Der Weg - Xavier Naidoo), countless big and small gigs all over Germany, TV appearances, e.g. at Stefan Raab's casting show for the European Song Contest and tour accompaniment for Stephan Weidner 2011 (Autournomie), brought her to Aachen, where she founded the Project UP - URBANproject together with Urban Elsässer in 2016, with which she is now producing her third EP. Yen can rock like Skin from Skunk Anansie and in the next moment takes off into soft falsetto.
